Accidentally flooded my herb garden with chamomile tea
Was trying to DIY a pest repellent last Tuesday. Boiled up a big pot of chamomile for spraying aphids off my lavender. Tripped over my cat, dumped the whole pot right on the basil patch. Soil got all soggy and weird for three days. Now the basil smells faintly like tea. Anyone else's DIY fixes turn into disasters?

Buddy of mine tried that with beer for slugs once. Whole yard reeked for a week.
