Found a clever clothespin trick at a farm stay in Vermont last fall
I was visiting a little inn near Woodstock and noticed the owner had pinned her herb bundles to dry using old wooden clothespins wrapped in a bit of twine. She said it kept the stems from bruising and made them look like a proper kitchen bouquet. I tried it at home with my sage and rosemary, and it works better than the rubber band method I used for years. Has anyone else found an old-timey way to dry herbs that keeps them from getting crushed?
