Hit 400 jars of jam from my little plum tree and it totally changed my pantry setup
That old tree out back only gave me maybe 30 jars last fall, but this year I counted 412 little half-pints after I started mulching with straw from the feed store, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has had a single tree surprise them like that and what did you do with all the extras?

Wow, 412 jars is wild. My neighbor gave me a box of pears once and I made maybe 20 jars and thought I was a homesteader. Still eating pear butter two years later.
