Weeded nothing but dandelions for 2 months straight and my whole front yard changed
Back in April I got tired of looking at a yard that was 60 percent dandelions, so I started pulling them by hand every morning before work, like 20 minutes a day with a $9 weeder from the hardware store. The first two weeks looked worse than before, all these holes everywhere, and my neighbor Roy in Boise kept laughing at me over the fence. Then around week 6 the bare spots stopped coming back and the clover moved in on its own, which I did not expect at all. Now it looks like a little meadow and I mow it once a week instead of fighting it, and I never bought a single bag of seed. Has anyone else just let the clover take over, or does it get out of hand after a season or two?
