Appreciation post: Overcooked 2 actually fixed our game night
My group was skeptical when I brought Overcooked 2 to our Friday night sessions. We were mostly playing shooters and racers before. After three rounds of kitchen chaos with four of us yelling on the same couch, everyone admitted it was legit. Has anyone else found a co-op game that surprised a group that normally sticks to one genre?

Legit" is the perfect word for it. We had the same thing happen with Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime last year. My group is all about competitive shooters too, so I was nervous. But something about having to pilot a ship together and yell at each other about which gun to man just clicked. It's that same chaos but with a shared goal instead of fighting each other.

@anna_hill yes, exactly. I've been noticing that same thing everywhere lately, like how cooking together with friends is way more fun than just eating takeout. Something about scrambling to figure out who's chopping onions and who's stirring just makes people connect better than sitting around staring at each other.
