My daughter's comment about my snack plate layout really got me thinking
Last Sunday my 14 year old daughter looked at the snack plate I made for game night and said, "Mom, everything is touching. It makes the crackers wet." She was right. I had the grapes right up against the cheddar slices and the hummus was seeping into the pita chips. Now I use little ramekins for dips and keep wet and dry foods separate. Anyone else have a family member give them a tip that actually improved their plating?
