DAE think It Takes Two is way better than A Way Out for couch co-op?
Me and my wife played A Way Out last month and it felt like a chore with all the slow walking and forced stealth sections. It Takes Two fixes all that by giving both players equal fun stuff to do in every level, we knocked out the whole thing in 3 weekends. Anyone else bounce off A Way Out but love It Takes Two?
The "felt like a chore" line hit me hard because that's exactly how my wife and I describe A Way Out too, and we kept telling ourselves we were having fun when we clearly weren't. It Takes Two actually gives both players something to do instead of one person watching the other sneak around for ten minutes, so the couch stays fun for both of you. My confession is that we never even finished A Way Out, we just quietly stopped one night and never brought it up again like it was a shared shame. Three weekends for It Takes Two sounds about right, it moves fast and never gets stuck on itself.
