PSA: skip the 8 player free for all, pick the 2 player co-op mode in the same game
Me and my buddy tried the 8 player free for all mode in Towerfall at his place in Boise two Fridays ago and it was just chaos, nobody could tell what was happening on screen. Switched to the 2 player co-op quest mode and we played for 3 hours straight, it was way more fun and we could actually talk strategy. Something about sharing one goal on the couch beats yelling over each other every time. Anyone got other games where the co-op mode totally beats the versus mode?
