Found a cable binder at a thrift store in Des Moines, now my shelf has a system
I was digging through a bin of old phone chargers and found one of those Velcro cable wraps, the wide kind. It got me thinking about how my controllers and headsets were just tangled in a shoebox. Now everything hangs on small hooks with a wrap on each cord, and I can grab a game without a 5 minute untangle. Anyone else do the same with wall hooks for their handhelds?

Hooks are a game changer, but that Velcro wrap thing you found is probably a cable tie, not a binder. Binders are the plastic clips that snap shut, the Velcro ones are just wraps. Still, the real trick is putting the hook near where you actually sit, not just on the wall by the shelf. I learned that the hard way when my controller cord kept reaching just barely short of the couch. Do you label the hooks or just remember which cord goes where by color?
