My buddy's storage bin setup changed how I see wire tangles

I was over at Mike's place last Tuesday helping him move his game room around. He showed me how he uses small plastic bins with labels for each console's cables instead of throwing them all in one box. I used to just stuff everything in a drawer and dig around for 10 minutes every time. Has anyone tried a similar bin system for controller cords and adapters?

Have you guys seen that trick where people use zippered pencil pouches with binder rings to organize cables? I read about it on some random gaming forum last year, and it really works. I grabbed a few of those clear mesh pouches from the dollar store, one for each system's controllers and chargers. Now when I want to play my old PS3, I just grab the pouch with the labeled tag instead of fighting with the black spaghetti monster in my drawer. Mike's bin idea is basically the same thing but on a bigger scale for console hookups.
