Threw away all my game cases. Regretted it instantly.

I was in my tiny apartment closet trying to squeeze in a new PS5. Decided to toss all the plastic cases to save space. Put the discs in a cheap binder from Walmart. Now I miss the cover art and my shelf looks like a sad notebook. Anyone else try this and go back to cases?

Man I felt this in my soul. I did the same thing a couple years ago with my Xbox 360 collection, threw all the cases in a recycling bin thinking I was being smart. Now I just have this ugly black binder and I can't even remember what half the cover art looked like. The worst part is when friends come over and see the binder, it just looks like I'm hiding something weird. I ended up buying a bunch of empty replacement cases off eBay for like a dollar each and printing out custom covers, not the same but better than nothing.

Wait what, you actually bought replacement cases and printed covers? Haha man that's some next level dedication right there. I tried printing one once and the colors came out all wrong, looked like a bootleg copy from 2003. But seriously though, that binder thing is the worst - everyone who sees it definitely thinks you're hiding some weird DVD collection or something. I respect the effort to fix it though, even if it's not perfect at least you can see the games again.
