My old roommate in Denver kept a frozen lasagna under his bed for 8 months
So this was about 3 years ago, when I was sharing a 2 bedroom place in Denver with a guy named Pete, and I still think about this at least once a month. Pete came home from Costco one day with this giant frozen lasagna, like the family size kind, and he said he was saving it for a special occasion. That occasion never came, because instead of putting it in the freezer, he slid it under his bed frame. I only found out 8 months later when I was helping him move his mattress and saw this rock hard brick of pasta sitting on a pizza box. He looked me dead in the eye and said it was fine because it stayed cold down there. It was not fine. It smelled like old cardboard and regret, and he actually tried to cook it. The worst part is he got mad at me when I said maybe don't eat a lasagna that shared a room with his dirty socks for most of a year. Did your roommate ever store food somewhere that made you question everything?
