PSA: my roommate's mini fridge died at 2am and flooded our kitchen in Tucson
I used to think renters insurance was a waste of $18 a month until I saw that puddle hit my new boots and had to call the landlord at midnight, so has anyone actually filed a claim for a roommate's dead appliance and did it go smoothly?
