My old prompt jar had 47 slips of paper, now I just ask my phone at a red light
Back in 2019 I kept a mason jar on my desk with 47 folded slips, each one a prompt I wrote out by hand, and I would pull one every morning like a fortune cookie. Now I just hit the voice memo button at a red light on Highway 99 and ramble for 30 seconds, which is how I got a whole story out of the phrase "a dog that only barks in Spanish." The paper ones felt more special but I never used half of them because I could see my own handwriting and remember the idea. Does anyone else find that typing a prompt on a phone kills it faster than writing it down?
