I hit 47 reused passwords across my accounts and that's what finally got me to use a manager
I ran a password audit tool about 3 months ago just messing around and it told me I had 47 accounts sharing the same 6 passwords. I honestly thought I was careful because they all had caps and symbols, but I was basically using Password1! with tiny changes. What really got me was when a friend in Columbus got his email jacked and they used it to reset his bank login, and he said he did the same thing I did. So I signed up for Bitwarden and spent like 2 hours changing passwords one by one, which was boring but not that bad. Now every single login is 16 random characters and I don't even know them, the app just fills them in. The scary part is I found 2 old accounts I forgot existed and both still worked. If you're putting off switching over, just run an audit first and see your number, it might change your mind like it did mine. What finally convinced you all to make the switch?
