My IT guy said my 8 character password was basically a welcome mat, so I switched to a passphrase
He cracked it in under a minute with some tool he had on his laptop, which honestly freaked me out since I'd been using that same password since 2019. Now I use four random words strung together like 'purple-tractor-mango-cloud' and he said that would take centuries to brute force. Does anyone here use a password manager too, or do you just memorize the passphrases?
