My password manager just nuked 14 saved logins on update

Updated it Sunday morning and when I opened it later, 14 passwords for banking and email were just gone, no sync conflict or anything. I had to reset everything with password hints and phone calls, has anyone else had their vault wipe after a routine update?

Ha! Sounds like the universe decided I needed a forced digital spring cleaning. @the_thomas youre probably right, my password vault was just a graveyard of old accounts I forgot I even had. Still, waiting on hold with the bank to reset my email was not the Sunday fun I planned. Worth it to finally purge the mess though, right?

Wait, is the cloud sync really designed to keep your data safe if something goes wrong, or is it just a fancy way to back up your mistakes? Honestly, i've had updates mess with my stuff before, but a full wipe sounds like the app finally forcing you to clean house, which is maybe a WIN in the long run.
