PSA: I stopped using my browser's built-in password saver after the LastPass mess and I'm not sure if I was right
Back in March I moved everything to a dedicated password manager and set up 2FA on my main accounts. Took me a whole Saturday, about 4 hours, and I had to reset 3 logins I forgot to save first. And in my experience it has been better, syncs across my phone and laptop, easy to generate long passwords. But my brother in law says the browser saver is fine now and all the breach stories are about the old stuff, so I'm torn on whether I pushed him too hard to switch. Your mileage may vary on this, but I keep coming back to it. Was I right to make the change, or did I just add one more account that can get locked?
