Two factor authentication used to feel like a hassle, now it's automatic
Back in 2019 I refused to turn on 2FA for my email. I thought it was just another step slowing me down. Then my gaming account got hit in that big breach and someone tried to reset my bank password with the same login info. Took me about 3 days to lock everything down and I still got a scare from one old forum account. Now I set up authenticator apps for anything important and it takes me 10 seconds extra. Has anyone else had that moment where they almost lost something real before they finally took basic security seriously?
