Hate to say it but the puns that get the biggest groan are the ones you write in 30 seconds
Last Tuesday at our shop lunch in Tulsa, a guy spent 20 minutes crafting this long wind-up story about a farmer and a chicken, and it got a polite chuckle at best. Then my buddy Dave blurted out "I only know 25 letters of the alphabet, I don't know y" while grabbing his sandwich, and the whole room lost it. Why do we keep treating dad jokes like they need a whole paragraph of setup when the quick dumb ones always land harder?
