Rant: my dog's new harness broke after 4 walks - what do you use?

Picked up a cheap harness from the hardware store in Portland last week and on the fourth walk the front clip snapped right off when my labrador lunged at a squirrel. Had to carry him home 3 blocks because he kept slipping out of the back clip. Anyone have a harness that actually holds up to a strong puller?

Ruffwear Front Range. Expensive but it’s been through hell with my boxer mix.

Mine lasted until my dog saw a pigeon. Carried a muddy 60 pounder home through a rainstorm.
