Pro tip: It took me 2 hours to find the mute button on my new smart speaker

Got a new Echo Dot last Saturday and spent way too long trying to get Alexa to shut up during the setup wizard. Kept saying 'Alexa stop' and she'd pause for 2 seconds then keep talking. Finally found out you just press the mic button on top once. Felt like an idiot. Did anyone else struggle with this or was it just me?

My buddy Tim got a Sonos last month and spent 45 minutes yelling "stop" at it before his kid walked over and pressed the mute button. He didn't talk about it for a week.

@henryf53 I finally just unplugged mine and plugged it back in. Worked like magic.
