Grabbed a coworking pass in Medellin vs a hammock in Taganga... I picked the wrong one

I was torn between a $150 monthly pass at Selina in Medellin or just working from a beach shack in Taganga for like $10 a day. Picked the hammock spot because vibes, but the wifi died three times in two hours and I spilled coffee on my laptop. Has anyone else tried to work from a beach and just given up?

Used to think I could hack it on a beach with a solid hotspot and a cold drink, figured it would be fine. @betty_reed61 your monkey story is wild, at least I just got coffee damage. After two hours of my laptop screen glitching from the humidity and sand getting in the fan, I packed up and found the nearest coworking spot in Santa Marta the next day.

Tbh I tried the hammock thing once in Thailand and lasted maybe three hours. The salt air did something weird to my keyboard and the keys started sticking. Then a monkey ran off with my power bank. Honestly I think working from a beach is a scam sold to us by Instagram influencers who never actually do any work. Ngl you made the right call admitting defeat early, I wasted a whole week pretending I could be productive while sweating through my shirt.
