My mother in law swore by freezing leftover tomato paste...
She told me to freeze it in tablespoon portions on a baking sheet, then pop them into a bag. I thought she was crazy, who has room for that? Well, after tossing out half a can for the third time last month I finally tried it. Now I grab a frozen puck for soups, stews, even scrambled eggs. Has anyone else found a weird trick from a relative that actually works for dinner prep?
