My roommate loaded the silverware all handle-up again
I walked in this morning and saw every single fork and knife pointing up in the basket. Dude said it's 'easier to grab' but now I'm picking dried cheese off the tines because they didn't rinse first. We've had this argument 6 times since we moved in together last September. How do you handle someone who refuses to alternate spoon directions for better washing?

The whole "easier to grab" thing is a total cop out. I'd just buy a separate plastic basket for his silverware so he can load it however he wants and leave the rest of us alone. Let him scrape his own dried cheese off the tines and see how fast he changes his mind.

That separate basket thing just sounds like a way to make his pointless system even more annoying for everyone else. Does he actually load it handles down in his special basket or is he still cramming them in pointy side up?
