That braided fleece toy I made last month turned into a sad pile of string in under 20 minutes
My golden retriever ripped apart a triple-braided fleece tug that took me an hour to make in just 18 minutes flat, so has anyone found a fabric that actually holds up to heavy chewers?

Denim is the ONLY fabric that has survived my pit mix. I cut up old jeans, braid them tight, and they last WEEKS. Fleece is basically a big invitation for destruction. Corduroy works too but only the thick stuff. Anything thin or fluffy is just a chew toy wearing a disguise.
