Took my 5 inch quad to an abandoned golf course and found a weird setup
I found this old golf course near Springfield that shut down like 3 years ago, figured it'd be perfect for some low altitude racing practice. But there was this random PVC pipe obstacle course set up near the 7th hole, like someone was running a tiny scale race track for toy cars or something. The gaps were exactly 18 inches apart, super tight for a drone. Couldn't resist flying through a few, totally wrecked a prop on the third one though. Anybody else ever stumble on weird homemade courses in random places?
Wait isn't the gap between PVC pipes usually measured by the inside width not the outside? I always thought 18 inch spacing meant the clear opening not the center to center of the pipes. Either way that sounds like a fun find even if the math might be a bit off on those gaps.
