Found a busted dresser on the curb 3 blocks from my house last Saturday
It had a broken leg and a drawer that was totally stuck, but the wood was solid oak underneath the grime. I spent Sunday cutting a new leg from a scrap 2x4 and sanding the whole thing down with 80 grit, and it looks pretty good now. Has anyone else pulled furniture from the trash and fixed it up with basic tools?
