My dog's favorite ball got wrecked by a puddle yesterday

I brought my lab mix Rocky to the dog park near my house. He found this muddy puddle in the corner and dove right in. His favorite squeaky ball got totally submerged and now it's all warped and won't squeak. He keeps carrying it around looking sad. Has anyone found a way to fix a waterlogged tennis ball or should I just toss it?

Lol I've definitely done that with a bag of chips... peanut butter and bread crumbs for weeks in the couch cracks.
