Bought a $5 collapsible laundry basket from Dollar Tree last Tuesday and it's changed my whole laundry routine
I used to just haul armfuls of clothes from the basement to the living room to fold, and everything would get wrinkled or drop stuff on the stairs. This little basket folds flat so it tucks behind the dryer, but holds a full load from my 4.5 cubic foot machine no problem. Anyone else find a dollar store item that replaced something you used to do the hard way?

Wait, is your machine really 4.5 cubic feet? That sounds huge for a basket from Dollar Tree to hold a full load. I just feel like those things are so flimsy, they start cracking after a month or two. I bought a collapsible one from Walmart a while back for like $8 and it broke the first time I actually filled it with wet clothes. Maybe you're just drying everything before you fold it? I always fold straight out of the dryer and those baskets are too small and wobbly for that. I'd rather just use a sturdy plastic tub for a few bucks more than mess with something that's gonna fall apart.

Spencer Lewis (@spencerl32): Fair point jana_henderson52, but have you tried drying stuff in the machine before adding it to the basket? That extra moisture is what kills the cheap bins.
