Question about replacing capacitors on a Genesis Model 1

I was dead set on keeping my original capacitors because I heard recapping kills the original sound. Then I watched a video where a guy put a scope on the audio lines and showed the old ones were way out of spec. Has anyone else actually A/B tested a Genesis before and after a recap and noticed a real difference?

Did @leet32 see that same video? My buddy swore his sounded warmer after, but I couldn't tell.

Steve from RetroRGB tested it and said the difference was basically zero.

Yeah that checks out with what I've seen too. @paulperry, I feel for you man, it's rough when you spend money expecting a real upgrade and it's barely there. I tried that HDMI adapter on my PVM and the image looked identical to my component cables, just slightly sharper edges maybe. Ended up returning it because it wasn't worth the hassle for me.
