Dropped $220 on that Klein backpack and now my back hurts
Everyone raves about the Klein Tools backpack so I finally caved and bought one. Three months in and my shoulders ache every day after carrying it. I loaded it up like normal with my basic hand tools and a few meters, nothing crazy. My old canvas bag was $40 and never gave me this grief. Anybody else regret dropping serious cash on a tool bag that just didn't work for them?

Had the same issue, try adjusting the waist strap before you load it.

The waist strap tip is solid but I found something that helped way more. Before you even put the pack on, lay it flat and check that the hip belt is centered. A lot of times it shifts slightly during packing. Then when you tighten, start from the middle and work outward. The pressure should be even across your hips, not just digging into one spot. Did you notice any weird pressure points after adjusting?
