My brother-in-law's joke about elevators made me snap
I had enough of him thinking our work is simple. So I showed him the maintenance logs for a single shift, and he hasn't said a word since.

I used to think elevator work was EASY too, but seeing those LOGS, like @angela984 said, changed my view.

Stop taking everything so personally. It was a joke about elevators, not a personal attack. Those logs might prove your point, but was it worth the fight. He's probably quiet because you went nuclear over nothing. Lighten up.
