PSA: Heard a client in Dallas say they got a 'chemical peel' from a nail salon
Honestly, I was waiting for my coffee and overheard this woman bragging about her $40 peel from a place that mainly does acrylics. It made me so mad thinking about the damage that could cause. How are we supposed to fight this stuff when people just go for the cheap option? Has anyone else had clients come in with bad results from totally unqualified spots?

My clinic in Austin started offering free skin consultations after seeing a spike in chemical burns. We catch people before they make that mistake and explain why proper training matters.

That Dallas story reminds me of @henry_grant's free consult idea, but we also need to talk about the supply chains letting these salons buy professional-grade acid without checks.

Remember when I used to think a peel was just a peel? Then my cousin went to a cheap place and got what looked like a sunburn that wouldn't heal for weeks. How can we get people to see it's not about the price, it's about the person holding the bottle?
