Saw what happens when you use solder vs. those wire connectors on fairy lights

I used those little plastic wire connectors on a set of outdoor fairy lights last fall. After one rainstorm, three sections went dead. Swapped to soldering the connections with heat shrink tubing and they are still going strong through this crazy winter.
