Am I the only one who thinks simpler field software beats all-in-one suites?

My dispatcher cornered me after I switched to a basic scheduling tool with just GPS tracking, no extra modules. She said they were spending 6 hours a week clicking through features they never used. Has anyone else seen a drop in productivity from bloated software?

Bet that extra module clutter is actually costing her company overtime pay every week.

lily394 you hit the nail on the head about that overtime stuff lol. I had a buddy who worked at a plumbing company and they switched to some monster software with inventory, payroll, and CRM all in one. He said their senior dispatcher spent like 4 hours a week just closing popups for features they didn't have access to, plus another hour digging through menus to find the actual schedule. They finally switched to a stripped down GPS app and their calls logged out 30% faster in the first week.
