Wasted $30 on a fancy glass bottle soda that was flat as a pancake

I ordered a 4-pack of that vintage style soda from a small brand I saw on Instagram. Showed up after 5 days and every single bottle had no fizz at all. Like someone shook them all out before sealing. I emailed the company and they said they don't do refunds for shipping issues. Has anyone else gotten flat sodas from ordering online?

Damn right it's the worst. Flat soda is basically just overpriced sugar water at that point. You'd think a brand going through the trouble of fancy glass bottles and Instagram marketing would actually care about the product getting to people in one piece. But nah, they got your thirty bucks and now it's your problem, not theirs. That "no refunds for shipping issues" line is total garbage too, it's basically them admitting they don't trust their own packaging to not screw up in transit. Blasting them on social media is the way to go for sure, hit them where it hurts, their image. Maybe then they'll learn to double bag those bottles or throw in some extra cushioning instead of just pocketing the cash and calling it a day.

Man that sucks, flat soda is the worst waste of money. I stopped ordering drinks online after one bad experience, it's just too risky with shipping. Those glass bottles probably got banged around and lost all their carbonation before they even reached you. Small brands on Insta are hit or miss, some are great but others don't care once they got your cash. I'd blast them on social media with a pic of the flat bottles, that usually gets their attention faster than email. Next time just grab a fancy soda from a local store where you can check the fizz first.
