We let our quietest friend pick the game and it changed our whole group

He chose a hidden role game called 'Blood on the Clocktower' and we played for 5 hours straight. I learned that the person who never talks can be the most devious liar when given the right role. What's a game that totally flipped the social dynamic of your game night?

What game did you think would be a total flop but ended up being amazing? I always thought Codenames was too simple for our group, but it made our most competitive friend shut up and actually work as a team for once. It was weird seeing him listen instead of trying to win by himself. That game completely changed how we pick stuff to play now.

Ngl I saw a lot of people saying the same thing about Codenames, @elizabethblack. It just looked like a word game but it gets super tense.

Codenames turned my loudest friend into a quiet thinker.
