Old pickle juice saved my stir fry last night
Had half a jar of dill pickles sitting in the fridge for 3 weeks and some sad bell peppers about to turn. Tossed a splash of the pickle juice into my stir fry with some leftover chicken and it actually made the whole thing taste way better. Got the idea from a random Reddit comment but thought it would be gross. Anyone else got a weird leftover liquid that worked out?

Oh did you try it @price.tyler? Pickle juice in scrambled eggs is legit. I do a tiny splash when I whisk them up and it adds this subtle tang without making them taste like pickles. Works even better if you throw in some chopped green onions or a dash of hot sauce. My go-to move now is saving the juice from spicy pickles - that stuff is liquid gold for marinades.
