PSA: Cold pizza is fine but please stop microwaving it with pepperoni still on

I used to just nuke my leftover pizza and call it a night until I noticed the pepperoni gets this weird rubbery texture that ruins the whole slice. Last Tuesday at 2am I decided to peel off the pepperoni before microwaving and put it back on after, and honestly it changed everything. Has anyone else tried this or am I just being extra about cold pizza?

Funny, I actually kinda like that rubbery texture, gives it some chew.
