Am I the only one who thought family visits to the job were trouble?
My brother's safety talk with my kids proved me wrong.

Used to think that too, seeing it click for kids changed my mind.

Yeah my cousin's a firefighter and when he brought his daughter's class to the station... it was a big deal. They got to try on the gear and everything, and now she tells everyone to check their smoke alarms. Changed her whole view of his weird hours.

Hold on, I gotta disagree. Those visits can still be a real hassle and break everyone's focus. What happens when it messes up a work flow or there's an actual safety risk someone didn't see?
