I was doing tricep dips on a kitchen chair and it just broke! Now I have a broken chair and a funny story. What do you use for dips at home that won't fall apart?
Mid-tricep dip is a brutal time for a chair to quit on you. I learned the hard way and now I use my stairs or a solid bench from my patio. Kitchen chairs are basically made of toothpicks and wishes. Always check for wobbles before you put your full weight on anything, it saves a lot of embarrassment.
Toothpicks and wishes describes my old dining set perfectly. I tried using a footstool for step-ups once and it folded like a lawn chair. Why do we even buy furniture that can't handle basic movement?
