Showerthought: Squats during TV ads finally got me moving regularly at home
I began doing this a couple months ago, just whenever ads came on. It sounds silly, but I see real change in my leg strength now. What little habits have you guys stuck with that actually worked?

My buddy started doing push-ups during the opening credits of his favorite show. He'd crank out like fifteen every time that theme song played. Stuck with it for a season and his arms looked totally different by the finale.

Man, how does your buddy even keep up with that routine without missing a single opening? I tried doing sit-ups during the credits of my go-to show and gave up after like three episodes because I kept getting distracted. Your friend's discipline is honestly impressive, @dakotam46, while I would probably just use the theme song as a reminder to check my phone. My arms would look exactly the same after a season because I lack that kind of follow-through, lmao. It's a smart trick, but I'm clearly not cut out for it.

Right? That "follow-through" thing @spencerj11 mentioned is the killer. My brain just treats any theme song as a snack break signal now. Maybe if the show was boring enough I'd push through, lol.
