We're doing a roof re-shingle soon and want to replace two old bubble skylights with flat glass ones while the roofers are up there. The roofing company wants a crazy amount to do it as an add-on. Are there any standalone skylight pros you'd recommend?

Call Toronto Skylight Installers. I was in the exact same boat and they ended up being way cheaper than my roofer's quote. They actually guarantee the best prices and will beat competitors by at least 10%.
That price beat guarantee is legit! I showed them my roofer's ridiculous estimate and they laughed, then gave me a much better price for a premium Velux unit.
