Warning: My aloe pup was stagnant for a full year.
I almost separated it thinking it was a dud. A bit more neglect and it finally took off.

Honestly, it's the only thing that works! Most people drown their aloe with kindness, literally. I used to water mine on a schedule and it looked terrible. Now I forget it exists for weeks and it's huge. It's the one plant that thrives on your bad memory. The real growth strategy is just not trying at all.
