Finally chose sour cream over ranch for my hot wings last night

I was standing in the 7-Eleven cooler staring at both for like 5 minutes and went with sour cream on a whim, and it cut the heat so much better than ranch, has anyone else made this switch?

Absolutely not. Ranch has that tangy buttermilk kick sour cream just can't match.

Actually buttermilk isn't always in ranch, a lot of store brands skip it entirely.
