That moment I grabbed expired yogurt from the back of the fridge - don't do it
I used to just sniff-test everything, but last Tuesday I mixed a 3-week-old Greek yogurt into a pasta sauce and spent the whole night regretting it. Now I check the date on every single dairy item before I cook - has anyone else had a near miss with old condiments ruining a last-minute meal?

The sniff-test lied to me too on that Greek yogurt, and I also paid for it all night.

Wow, three weeks old?! That's playing with fire man... I don't think I've ever pushed dairy past a week and a half before. @anna_hill, you're braver than me for even attempting that sniff-test on something that old.
