Showerthought: I used to be a total hero with laundry folding, now I just toss everything in one drawer
Honestly, back in college I would fold my t-shirts exactly like the store did, even iron my jeans. Spent a good 20 minutes every Sunday on that. Then about two years ago I got a job where I'm on call almost 24/7 and I just stopped caring. Now I dump my entire clean laundry basket into the biggest dresser drawer and call it done. Takes me 30 seconds max. Has anyone else just given up on a chore they used to be anal about?
Right there with you, I went from folding my underwear into perfect little rectangles to just sort of shoving them in there like a feral raccoon hiding acorns. My drawer is basically a clean clothes abyss now, and I play a little game of "what shirt am I fishing out today" every morning. Guess we're just evolving backwards on life skills at this point.
