Not sure if it's right to pay for guided sessions online

Yeah, oscar471 has a point about paying to keep good guides around. I was on the fence about this too. In my case, I used a lot of free stuff to learn the basics, but I hit a wall. Paying for one good session from someone who really knew their stuff saved me months of trying to figure it out alone. Your mileage may vary, but that small fee felt worth it because the help was direct and solved my specific problem. The free stuff is great for the community, but sometimes a paid guide is the tool you actually need.

Totally get what you're saying, @graydavis. Reminds me of my buddy who was trying to fix up an old car in his garage. He watched every free video out there but got completely stuck on this weird electrical issue. He finally caved and paid a retired mechanic for a two hour video call. That guy spotted the problem in like twenty minutes, something my friend would've never found on his own. It was worth every penny just to get that direct answer and stop the headache. Your point about hitting a wall is so true, sometimes you just need the right person to point at the one thing you're missing.
