That one comment about my 'distracted boyfriend' remix made me rethink how I handle dead space
Someone pointed out my edit had too much empty room on the left where the original had a lamppost and I moved the text there to balance it, now I crop or fill negative space first before adding new jokes has anyone else gotten feedback that totally changed how you format a remix?

Ever notice how one small tweak can totally change your whole workflow? I started checking my backgrounds first after someone pointed out a weird empty spot in one of my earlier edits, and now it's just part of my routine.

That's such a good point. Once you start looking at the empty spaces in a scene or a shot, you can't unsee it. It's like your brain flips a switch and suddenly you're noticing all the dead zones that need something, even if it's just a shadow or a little bit of texture. This tiny habit of checking backgrounds first really forces you to think about the whole frame instead of just the main subject. It changes how you plan everything from the start because now you're composing the negative space as much as the positive stuff.
